Ms Lindsay has many years of experience and has provided services to the legal community and to business owners, providing expert witness testimony in many Federal, State and other courts and Tribunals around Australia. Here are some example cases.
Forensis Accounting is led by Tamara Lindsay. Ms Lindsay has over 25 years experience as an accountant with the majority of these as a Chartered Accountant specialising in forensic accounting. Prior to establishing Forensis Accounting she was a partner in the Forensic Accounting division of a major Chartered Accounting firm.
Alex Wallace is a forensic accountant with expertise in damages quantification, modelling and legal writing. Alex strives to make complex accounting issues understandable for the clients of Forensis Accounting and the Court to assist in expediting resolution of complex disputes.

Fran Grant is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience. Ms Grant commenced her career with Coopers & Lybrand/PwC, working in Sydney and later in Basel, Switzerland. Between 2002 and 2007 Ms Grant worked for Energy Australia as Project Manager of its International Accounting Standards Implementation Project. Since 2007, Ms Grant has worked for Forensis Accounting preparing expert/court reports for dispute resolution, financial investigation and loss quantification matters.
Tenielle Davis is a Chartered Accountant and an accredited Forensic Accounting Specialist with the CAANZ with 25 years’ accounting experience. Tenielle commenced her career working in tax, business services and audit on the South Coast of NSW, followed by 10 years working as a Registered Company Auditor. Since 2015, Tenielle has worked as a forensic accountant and is experienced in preparing expert/court reports for dispute resolution, financial investigation and economic loss claims.

The Bell Group Limited v a syndicate of 60+ banks
Heard in WA Supreme Court. Currently awaiting judgment. Ms Lindsay was briefed by Blake Dawson Waldron, acting for the Liquidator of the Bell Group Limited. The assignment involved the accounting and commercial interpretation of a number of restructuring proposals. Ms Lindsay prepared a very extensive report and gave evidence in the matter in 2004.
Club Hotels Operations Pty Limited v CHG Australia Pty Limited
NSW Supreme Court - accounting interpretation of warranted terms and critique of claim regarding a business acquisition. Ms Lindsay was briefed by Bruce Stewart Dimarco who acted for Club Hotels (the vendor).

ACCC v Baxter Healthcare
Federal Court - price fixing matter. Ms Lindsay was briefed by the Australian Government Solicitor, acting for the ACCC.
Customs v Parker & Ors
NSW Supreme Court - investigation into the alleged non-payment of excise duty on alcohol importation and warehousing. Ms Lindsay was briefed by the Australian Government Solicitor, acting for Customs. Judgment was handed down on 8 May 2006, with a decision in favour of Customs. Ms Lindsay's report and evidence was commented on extensively in the judgment.
CGEA Transport Sydney Pty Ltd and Anor v Sydney City Council
NSW Land & Environment Court. Ms Lindsay was briefed by Piper Alderman who acted for CGEA (former owner of the Monorail in Sydney). The matter involved quantification of a reasonable payment for utilising "airspace" in CBD Sydney.
Adshel v JC Decaux
Federal Court - quantification of loss of profits from bus and tram shelter street advertising. Ms Lindsay acted for Adshel briefed by Freehills in Melbourne.
Globaltel v Worldcom
NSW Supreme Court - review of loss of profits claim. Ms Lindsay acted for Worldcom briefed by Baker & McKenzie. Investigation involved computer assisted analysis of telecommunications billing data - matter settled due, in part, to Ms Lindsay's analysis which showed no inaccuracy in the defendant's data.
Henley Arch v Clarendon Homes
Federal Court - Account of profits. Ms Lindsay acted for Clarendon briefed by Minter Ellison. Her role was to quantify an account of profits arising from an alleged infringement of copyright.
Thakral Operations & Ors ats Needlegrove Investments & Anor
Supreme Court of New South Wales (currently awaiting judgment) - this case involved the issue of relief from forfeiture of a sub-lease over premises allegedly operated as a restaurant/nightclub. Briefed by Blake Dawson Waldron in Sydney. Ms Lindsay's evidence related to the value of the sub-lease.
